Boxing and Kickboxing
Boxing and kickboxing are sports that build coordination, balance, agility, speed, power and endurance. Character, however, is the most important and necessary attribute in the sport and the one that will be emphasized the most in this program. For the purposes of this program, boxing and kickboxing are not really about fighting, but about building character, confidence and self-mastery. In the advanced program, there will be an opportunity to pursue competition, if it is desired.

Viniyoga: Gentle Form of Yoga
Viniyoga (prefixes vi and ni plus yoga ) is an ancient Sanskrit term that implies differentiation, adaptation, and appropriate application.
The practices of Yoga provide the means to bring out the best in each practitioner. This requires an understanding of a person's present condition, personal potential, appropriate goals and the means available. Just as every person is different, these aspects will vary with each individual.

Fitness Evaluations At The New Gym
A general health assessment and fitness evaluation is offered to all of our members. A fitness evaluation determines the level of the five health-related fitness components which are body composition, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, and aerobic capacity. Fitness improvement and maintenance is a key to longevity and quality of life. It is critical to understand your level of fitness before starting an exercise program.
Nutrition Counseling
Exercise is not always enough! If you need help with weight loss, high blood pressure or cholesterol or managing your diabetes, see one of our staff members. Our staff is available to counsel you on ways to meet your nutritional needs and health goals. We offer education and counseling about healthy eating, preventive nutrition and lifestyle choices. Performance Training
Achieve the highest in sports performance enhancement with our club's approach to athlete preparation.
